Absolutely not! It is a complex machine learning platform that uses natural language processing to analyse millions of CVs. From these it gets billions of data points to predict which candidates will be most suitable for your team.


Is PLATO smart?

How does PLATO know a candidate will be a good fit?

It observes candidate's experiences and what caused that experience to happen. It sees where candidates have had a great time at a company, then analyses why they had it.

It does this for every person in the database, which, when combined with the factors that make your unique organisation special, it can choose the best candidates that are most likely to succeed working with you.


Does PLATO really have no bias?

Research tends to suggest that it is impossible to remove bias completely.

However, it removes individual biases and can be altered to remove institutional biases. We can also highlight any key demographics that your talent pool is missing.


Can an applicant cheat PLATO?

In short, no.

It looks for the best unique outliers rather than typical applicants for a role. If someone were to submit a CV designed to only hit the keywords in the job advert they wouldn't stand out to PLATO - a bad CV is still a bad CV. PLATO recommends candidates that are best suited to your organisation and the position through advanced multi-factor comparisons.

Although, if someone were to figure out how to cheat PLATO, we'd probably be hiring them ourselves...
